How to Compare an Equipment Upgrade for Your Salon
Begin with the specific constraint in your current setup. Compare the proposed configuration against that need, using the same fields for both devices.

Name the problem you want to resolve
Record whether the issue is equipment footprint, missing accessories, maintenance downtime or another documented workflow limitation. Avoid substituting a new feature list for a clear purchasing objective.
Compare the exact configurations
List the current and proposed model, handpieces, accessories, electrical input and installation requirements side by side. Obtain a current written configuration from the supplier rather than assuming similarly named devices include the same items.
Check the changeover costs
Ask about the delivery route, installation, staff familiarization, approved consumables and replacement parts. Confirm whether any existing accessories are compatible; visual similarity is not a compatibility statement.
Ask for a practical demonstration
Request a demonstration of the exact quoted configuration and the relevant operating documentation. Separate hardware observations from promotional applications and unverified outcome claims.
Record a decision you can review
Keep the quote, configuration sheet, support terms and unanswered questions together. If a required field is unknown, request it before treating the two configurations as comparable.
Planning guidance, not a quotation, operating manual, legal determination or clinical advice. Product facts appear with their sources on the individual equipment pages. Last reviewed: 4 November 2026.
Ask for the details that matter.
Confirm the model, configuration, destination and commercial terms.
